The conference is held at Twin Towns Conference and Function Centre, right on the Queensland and New South Wales border at Tweed Heads. The easiest place to stay is onsite, with two adjoining properties just steps from the conference sessions: The Sebel Twin Towns and Mantra Twin Towns.

The Sebel and Mantra are pleased to extend 10% off the Flexible Rate to all ASFA conference guests. The hotel rooms and apartments are beautifully appointed with stylish, comfortable furniture and all the amenities you need to make yourself at home. Relax in the onsite pool or take a short walk down to Greenmount Beach. The offer is valid for stays from 21 to 27 October 2026, which covers both the pre-conference workshop and the full conference. Everything across the conference is within walking distance. The Twin Towns Services Club, with its restaurants and bars, is connected by a covered walkway, and our Saturday night conference dinner at Greenmount Surf Club is an easy stroll along the foreshore. For those flying in, Gold Coast Airport is roughly a seven minute drive.
