The Australasian Solution Focused Association (ASFA) is the professional home for Solution Focused practitioners across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand. Whether you’re just discovering the Solution Focused Approach or have been practising for years, membership connects you with a warm, generous, and internationally connected community.

The Australasian Solution Focused Association is a vibrant community of practitioners, researchers, educators, consultants, managers, leaders, supervisors, community workers, students, and others from diverse public and private sectors including health, education, social work, justice, community work, and organisational development.

SF Collaboration
Our online SF Collaboration (peer supervision) sessions bring practitioners together to hone Solution Focused language and shape practice. Held on the first Monday of each month at 7pm Sydney time.

For full-time students at a recognised tertiary institution who support the aims and values of ASFA.

Full Membership
Full membership of the ASFA.
All memberships run for the calendar year, although we will keep them running until March 31 to allow you plenty of time to pay your fees.
1 year membership

Student Membership
ASFA Student Membership
You must be a full-time student in a tertiary setting.
Part-time students would need to negotiate first (eg on the basis of unemployment or low income).
Student members have the same rights and membership as a full member except for the following:
- they can attend but cannot vote at the AGM
- they cannot access the same level of discount at the annual conference
If you are on a low income and cannot pay a full membership, then please contact us and we are happy to talk.

Life Member
This is solely for Life Members of ASFA.
Life Membership is granted by the ASFA Board.
You cannot buy one, but we would value them at about $10k
